Partner With Lighthouse Bible Chapel
Your generosity fuels the mission of reaching people with the gospel in the Jupiter area. Every gift helps us gather, serve, and grow as we plant a new church.
Important: Lighthouse Bible Chapel has applied for 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status, and our application is in process.
Even though we do not yet have an IRS determination letter, the IRS recognizes churches as automatically tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3). This means your gifts to Lighthouse are tax-deductible. Once our application is approved, we will also receive an official determination letter for additional assurance.

Why We Give
We give because God first gave to us. Giving is an act of worship and trust—it’s how we participate in God’s work through the local church.
“Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”
— 2 Corinthians 9:7
Giving FAQs
Are my gifts to Lighthouse Bible Chapel tax-deductible?
Yes. According to the IRS, churches that meet the requirements of Section 501(c)(3) are automatically considered tax-exempt—even before receiving a determination letter. Your gifts to Lighthouse are tax-deductible. (Source: IRS Publication 557)
If churches are automatically tax-exempt, why did LBC apply for 501(c)(3) status?
While not required, applying for 501(c)(3) status provides an official IRS determination letter, giving donors added assurance, easing state-level exemptions, and strengthening long-term organizational health. Our application has been submitted and is in process.
Will I receive a giving statement for tax purposes?
Yes. Lighthouse Bible Chapel will issue a contribution statement each January for all gifts given in the previous year. This statement can be used to support your charitable giving when you file your taxes.
